Introduction
The CSR Contest* will run on a QUARTERLY CONTEST BASIS from January 1 to December 31. Months of qualification will run January-March, April-June, July-September and October-December. Agencies will be divided into two Market Service Area (MSA) categories; (1) those agencies in MSAs with populations rounding up to 500,000 or more, and (2) those agencies in MSAs with smaller populations. Any new business written with effective dates between January 1 and December 31 will be listed in each month's GROUP COVERAGE newsletter, along with contest totals. Quarterly winners must be employed for 30 days after the end of the qualifying quarter to receive their award. Annual winners and participants must be actively employed by the Leavitt Group on December 31 of the prior year to be eligible to receive their award.
Contest Details
The purpose of the Contest is to encourage CSR's to generate new business to the agency and to cross-sell new policies to existing customers. To qualify, the written policy must be new to the agency and solicited by the CSR. Business that is rewritten does NOT qualify unless the policy has been inactive/expired for at least 6 months or longer. Rewrites must be solicited by the CSR to qualify. Those eligible to participate in the Contest are licensed CSR's who derive less than 25% of their income from commission. Producers and Agency Principals are not eligible to participate.
The CSR contest will be conducted utilizing a point system for each new piece of business written by the CSR. Allocation of points will be awarded according to the Points Table. Points will be doubled for cross sold policies. For example, a CSR who writes a new Auto policy will receive 20 points. If the CSR cross markets and sells a Homeowners policy for the client, the Homeowners policy will count as 40 points vs. the normal 20.
Business written in any given month must be entered in your agency management system by the end of the current month. For example, business written with a March effective date, must be entered using the Contest Activity Tracking Codes no later than March 31st. Business not entered by the cut off date will not be eligible. No exceptions.

The top 10 CSR's per MSA category will share a quarterly prize amount of $2,000 per MSA category with that amount being divided amongst the winners on a pro-rata basis determined by point totals.**
