Benchmarking
- NBGH is National Business Group on Health and is a survey of LARGE employers, but you might find the variables of interest even for smaller employers. It does break down responses by Industry and Employer size (smallest size category is < 10,000).
- WTW is Willis Towers Watson. The survey does briefly summarize the various results by Size and Industry.
- PWC is Price Waterhouse Coopers. Health & Well-being Touchstone Survey. 115 pages. June 2017. (survey completed in Q1 of 2017) 788 participating employers in 37 different industries (see pg 112 for list). Some info is stratified by industry (7) but not size. Most info is NOT stratified by ER size or location. Where data is broken down by ER size, the categories are: < 1,000 EEs, 1,000 -4,999 EEs & 5,000+ EEs.
The 2017 report focuses on medical and prescription drug plan design, dental, wellness/well-being, ancillary benefits, paid time off, healthcare reform, retiree benefits, health benefits strategy and options under consideration, and whether ER would continue certain ACA requirements if ACA were repealed.
