I started my career in 2012 as a safety engineer and came over to the insurance industry in 2016. I have worked with clients across a spectrum of industries including construction, manufacturing, health care, maintenance, trucking and agriculture. I am certified in Fall Protection, Machine Guarding and Traffic Control. While I was going to college I worked as a certified nurse assistant and have experience working in both long term, acute and specialized Alzheimer care facilities.
I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from CSU, Sacramento and I hold a professional certification as a Board Certified Safety Professional. I am a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and have served on the board for numerous years.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me outdoors fishing, camping, hiking or gardening. My very favorite thing to do is swim in the local rivers. I am a 3-time boy mom and proud of each of them.
Fun Fact: I’m semi handy and did a full remodel of my first home with just a bit of help from a few people. I also started a bus RV conversion where I learned to cut sheet metal, rivet and use an angle grinder.
